Our JH Lady Indians pick up another win on the season! Keep up the great work!
Our yearbook team was hard at work last week learning about our new software and getting to know other chapters! They presented our yearbook theme for the year and our ideas for our spreads. They competed against others to win a new camera lens and we found out we are finalist for the lens last night! Fingers crossed!

Hello Parents/Guardians,
Today, your child is bringing home a Parent Information Envelope letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.
The SchoolStore fundraiser is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.
Here is all you need to do to participate:
1. Go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000009234 to sign up.
2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.
3. Return the Envelope with the Student Prize Code to school for your child to get their fun participation prize.
Be sure to ask your child for the Parent Envelope tonight. Your participation will make a difference for our school and teachers!
Thanks,
Van-Far Elementary School
Lifetime Sports had a blast having Ninja Noodle Battles! A fun game where you are blindfolded and a partner guides you to swat another group with your pool noodle. If you get swatted, you have to do 10 push ups. We might have to try this at our next staff meeting, minus the push ups , of course!
Mr. Talkington and Bransen Salmon have been busy finding their creative side during Ag Design class. Stay tuned because great things are coming from this class!
Dental Screenings Coming Soon! Dental screening forms were sent home last Friday. We would ask that all forms be returned by September 22, 2023, whether or not your child is participating. There is no cost for the dental screening. The screenings will be performed by the staff at Gentle Healthy Smiles.
The ladies are back at it again! Come out tonight in white! 🖤🤍💛
Today's home Junior High Softball game versus Silex is cancelled due to rain and will likely be rescheduled at a later date. Thanks!
Patriot Day on September 11th honors the memory of the nearly 3,000 innocent victims who died in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Each year Americans dedicate this day to remembering those who died and the first responders who risked their own lives to save others. #neverforget #patriotday
