You must remain on the red tarp at all times. All violators will be asked to move outside of the fence or potentially asked to leave the game. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight!
During Mr. Elledge's Personal Finance class, high school students are learning the five foundations pictured. Today's focus was on saving money and how it is a disciplined behavior you have to be willing to practice. Personal Finance is a requirement for graduation and we are hopeful students learn lifelong lessons from their time with this curriculum.
Thursday afternoon took me to 7th grade math for a review of adding and subtracting integers. Students used a song or poem to remember the rules of negative numbers. They did a great job of working together and showing support to one another if they needed it!
Twenty-five high school students ventured to Mexico today to visit 55 colleges and universities. A huge thank you to Mrs. Utterback and Mrs. Jones for organizing the trip and to Brandon Barnett for sending Tom Spradling to get us there and back! Great things are happening for our kids!

Students shared their opinions with support and likely learned a few new facts about Mr. Columbus!
Our Lady Indian Softball Teams are in action again this evening. Good luck ladies!!
My final stop today was to the weight room to see the progress this class has made in the first 5 weeks of school. The high energy in this space is crazy! When kids are cheering other kids on, good things are bound to happen!
My next stop took me to junior high art where students worked with pottery. From rolling clay to making small pots, the students seemed to enjoy the relaxing activity!
Eighth grade students shared their Poetry Odes today to their classmates. The friends on each side are their support buddies, friends who are there when they get nervous or just need a confidence boost. Students really seemed to enjoy the project! Be sure to ask your student about their ode!
Congratulations to our September staff members of the month!! We appreciate your dedication to our students! Keep being awesome!
