The Van-Far R-I School District is currently accepting applications for a Library Media Specialist for the 2025-2026 school year. The LMS will serve students in PK-12 grade. In the elementary setting, the LMS will teach classes on a daily basis. At the secondary level, the LMS will be available for a maximum of 2 hours a day for students to utilize the library. The LMS is responsible for overseeing the budget, purchasing, cataloging of books, keeping an up-to-date inventory, and reporting on the use of the library. The successful candidate shall have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and shall possess the necessary certification for the position as required by the Missouri State Board of Education. Preference will be given to those applicants who are properly certified.
